What We Do
- help unlock students' potential through curricular-integrated instruction
- emphasize the libraries' role in Dartmouth scholarship, teaching, and learning through the exhibits program
- support first-year and all pre-major students in using library spaces, tools, resources, collections, and services
Teaching
We support library staff in planning, delivering, and assessing user-centered teaching. We coordinate library instruction for first year writing classes and partner with the peer tutoring center on research and composition support.
Staff Development
We develop ongoing programming to support librarians as co-educators in teaching and learning. We also lead a comprehensive program that supports the professional growth of all Libraries staff and fosters a culture of continuous learning.
Exhibits
We feature the Library's connections to Dartmouth's scholarship, teaching, traditions, and community through an active exhibits program. We manage physical exhibit spaces and partner with other Libraries departments to host online exhibits curated by faculty, students, staff, and alumni.
