The Libraries and Information, Technology and Consulting (ITC) provide machines that print, copy, and scan.
Location of Printers
You'll find at least one printer at each of our libraries. Dartmouth Information, Technology and Consulting (ITC) maintains the printers across campus and provides help with the GreenPrint.
Printers also scan and copy.
Dartmouth Students
Personal device
Set up your personal device using ITC's instructions to send documents to print. Print from Your Device with GreenPrint.
Public Computers
You can print from any of the public computers in our libraries using Web Print.
Guests and Community
Please ask at the circulation desk about available options. Guests can use the overhead scanners to scan things to their email or to a USB drive.
Specialty Machines
Plotter
Have a large poster or over-sized document to print? We offer specialty printing for large-format posters using the Evans Map Room Services.
Bigger print jobs can take more time to produce, so plan ahead!
Flatbed Scanners
Use the GreenPrint self-service stations to scan in black and white or color and send to email for free. Guest users may scan or make copies using a complementary guest card available at Baker-Berry circulation desk.
Letterpress
Dartmouth community can use our Letterpress Studio to make original prints with type, images, or digital files.
Overhead Scanner
An overhead scanner is perfect for digitizing books, images, objects, or materials that don't fit the flatbed scanner. The overhead scanners are self-service and free to use.
Baker-Berry Locations:
- Berry Level 1 Main Street, West Wall (near the New Book Display at the top of the Novack stairs)
- Berry Level 3 (near the GreenPrint stations)
Please Note
Use of Dartmouth Libraries' Machines must comply with the Dartmouth College Information Technology Policy, Dartmouth College Copyright Policy and Guidelines, other Dartmouth policies, and state and federal law. This service is managed by Information, Technology and Consulting.
Request Scans
Request a scan when you need an article, only a portion of a book, or to view something from our Special Collections.
