I work in Document Delivery at the Medical and Health Sciences Libraries, helping patrons access articles and books through Interlibrary Loan. I joined the library profession in 1984 and spent my first ten years at the Shaanxi University of Science and Engineering Library in China. I began working at Dartmouth Library in 2001.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, dancing, and cooking.

I am a Document Delivery Assistant and the Technology Lead for the Medical & Health sciences Libraries at Dartmouth. My responsibilities include working with the interlibrary loan system and weekly coverage of the information desk. I arrange for the lending and borrowing of materials among libraries throughout the world and provide medical documents to doctors, Med students and researchers. When not at work I enjoy skiing, hiking and mountain biking. I am also an avid ukulele enthusiast and play my own custom made ukulele.

I am a library technician with a long professional history in public services and information technology support. At the Geisel School of Medicine, my role encompasses a breadth of technological responsibilities that ranges widely from troubleshooting individual user devices, managing our library equipment, liaising with library and tech representatives from the greater Dartmouth campuses, as well as managing some specific library systems.

I received a Bachelor's in English from Georgia State University in Atlanta focusing on world literature and interactive fiction. Recently, I completed a Master's in English from Trinity College in Hartford, CT focusing mostly on Moby-Dick. For fun, I play old video games and even older board games.

As the Director of Medical and Health Sciences Libraries I provide strategic vision for the libraries in support of research, scholarship, education, and patient care in the health and life sciences. I support the ongoing development of the medical libraries; including supporting our staff, collections, and services to the Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth Health, and Dartmouth communities.

The Medical and Health Sciences Libraries include the Dana Biomedical Library on Dartmouth's Hanover campus, as well as the Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library located within the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

I have a BA in History from St. Edward's University and a Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. I am a Senior Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) through the Medical Library Association.
