As Dean of Libraries, Susanne provides strategic leadership for Dartmouth's libraries. She is responsible for the ongoing development of the Libraries' services, staff, collections, and facilities.

Lora L. Coble
Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

Lora is the chief financial and administrative officer for the Dartmouth Libraries' approximately 147 staff and 150 student employees. She holds an AS and BS in Accounting from Champlain College, and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.  Lora's early professional experience was in accounting and financial services.  She transitioned careers in 2000, becoming a biomedical librarian, and then moved into her current role in 2007.

Associate Dean of Libraries, Research & Learning

In my role, I lead major Library programs with Dartmouth-wide visibility and impact, ensuring a coherent and responsive information and service environment for the interdisciplinary research and teaching needs of the campus.  By demonstrating a passion and commitment for learning, my Research & Learning teams shape programs and partnerships that empower faculty and students, advance scholarship to extend Dartmouth’s impact, and ensure the Library evolves in response to a changing environment.

Associate Dean of Libraries, Research & Digital Strategies

As the Associate Dean of Libraries, Research and Digital Strategies at Dartmouth, Daniel provides vision and long-range planning for the Library’s digital programs and initiatives, collaborates with faculty, students and key partners across campus and the Ivy Plus network to advance research and teaching, and fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and experimentation at Dartmouth.

Associate Dean of Libraries, Collections & Content Strategies

As the Associate Dean of Libraries, Collections and Content Strategies, Qiana develops strategies for the Library’s work of acquisitions, discovery, access, preservation, and management of information resources. Qiana is also the Library’s principle liaison in regional, national, and international partnerships in support of collection development, collective negotiating, and collaborative initiatives.
