Are we missing something? You can request materials be added to our collections. Find out how.
New Materials
Have a suggestion for the perfect item to add to our collection? Submit a request and the Libraries may buy it for our collections! Purchase requests are subject to our collection development policies.
Request services are available to Dartmouth students, faculty, and staff.
Request Item Delivery
Would you rather pick up your item at a service desk? Request an item for delivery to your preferred pickup location at any Dartmouth Libraries’ service point. Here's how:
Find the item via Library Search.
Select the item and click 'Request Physical Item.'
Choose your location, and submit.
We’ll email you when your item is ready, and you have one week to pick it up.
Borrow from Other Libraries
Sometimes the fastest way to access an item that Dartmouth doesn't own is to borrow it from another library using Interlibrary loan.
Request Scans
Just want an article or a book chapter? Students, faculty, and staff may request scans of articles and book chapters from our collections. Find the item using Library Search and click on “Request Scan” or request through Interlibrary Loan.
