Who We Are
Scholarly Communication fits primarily with the Libraries' strategic pillars: accelerating research and amplifying Dartmouth's impact. We do this through our promotion of open access programs and education about copyright and related matters.
What We Do
We provide publishing platforms (like DigitalCommons and others) to accelerate dissemination of research. We provide copyright and intellectual property consultation in order to help authors understand their rights, and we work with university administration and other stakeholders to promote open access and related policies that will make research more accessible.
