Getting Here
Evans Map Room is located inside Baker-Berry Library. For information about transit and parking, follow directions from Baker-Berry.
The Evans Map Room is located on the second floor of Berry Library, next to the Jones Media Center:
- From the Berry/Novack Café entrance, take the elevator or stairs to Level 2.
- From Reiss Hall in Bakery Library, proceed to Berry main level, and take the elevators or stairs to Level 2.
Navigate the Map Room
- Quiet study space, but please no food or drinks
- The Librarian’s office
- Service desk
- Greenprint station (black & white)
- Globes, including one made from Legos
Study Spaces
There are 2 long tables that can accommodate 6 to 8 people each. However, we do not have power outlets to support all of those people.
GIS Workstations
Noise Level: normal
3 dedicated workstations for using the software, ArcGIS. Available by appointment.
Printing
Evans Map Room has a large format printer and scanner. Please review our information about this service before arriving at Evans.
- Printing stops 30 minutes before we close. Plan accordingly.
- There are no self-service printers for letter, legal, or tabloid size at Evans, review ITC's list of self-service printers to find the closest machine.
- There are no Macs in Evans, make sure your files can be read by a PC.
Copying
There is a black and white photocopier that can copy pages up to size 11x17 (tabloid).
Light Table
If you need to trace maps onto paper, try our light table. There is one available first come, first serve.
Food and Beverages
No food or drink (including water) is allowed in the Evans Map Room.
