I am an international student from Bosnia and Herzegovina, so naturally, I wanted to choose a book related to my culture. Mak Dizdar is one of the quintessential Bosnian writers, but his works are not as well known outside of the country as they should be. I hope this book will introduce future readers to the enchanting world of his poetry and inspire them to explore more of  Balkan literature.
