Marina Cepeda ’21

Marina Cepeda is a ’21 from Miami, Florida, who uses digital art to share stories of marginalized communities. She is an RMS and DHSE Research Cluster Fellow and is researching how technology can be healing for Black people in the age of the "New Jim Code." At Dartmouth, she studies AAAS, Computer Science, and Film. She reactivated Dartmouth Alliance for Children of Color (DACC), leads Black Girls are Magic and Palaeopitus, and is a member of FYSEP and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In Miami, she volunteers for Dream Defenders, an abolitionist social justice group.
