Stephanie C. Kerns

I am an Assistant Professor of Medical Education and the Director of Biomedical Libraries. As the Director of Biomedical Libraries, I lead a team of user-focused and dedicated staff. As the Longitudinal Curriculum Leader for Evidence Based Medicine and Informatics for the MD program at the Geisel School of Medicine, I work with medical students to learn how to think critically about evidence, its application to patient care, and clinical decision making. My interests include leadership, evidence based practice, informatics, and medical education curriculum development and assessment.

I received a BA in English with a certificate in Women's Studies and a Masters in Library Science, both from Indiana University in Bloomington. I have held positions at several institutions including OHSU, Northwestern, and Georgetown.
