Trevor Noah and I come from a very similar background in South Africa, so I personally relate to his book, Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood, in many ways. And like Trevor, I have been fortunate to realize my own version of the American dream after overcoming many of the same challenges in my upbringing.
