John DeSantis has a dual role in the Library as Interim Head of Cataloging and Metadata Services, as well as bibliographer for Russian Language and Literature. Originally from Canada, John previously worked as a multilingual translator for the Government of Ontario. He is active in the American Library Association and the International Federation of Library Associations. Outside of the Library, he enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with his two pug dogs and three cats.
