As someone with a deep understanding of advanced preservation techniques and the historical value of cultural heritage materials, Elena leads efforts in preserving and caring for the Dartmouth Libraries' diverse collections. She is dedicated to ensuring the long-term care and accessibility of both physical and digital collections for future generations of scholars and researchers. 

Elena holds a MA in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from the Bard Graduate Center; a MLIS with an Advanced Certification in Archives from Pratt Institute; and has completed doctoral coursework in art history at The Graduate Center, CUNY.
