As the Media Services Specialist in the Jones Media Center, my primary responsibility is to provide faculty and students access to media, both physical and streaming, as part of media reserves requests submitted for courses taught each term here at Dartmouth. Faculty-requested physical media is selected from the JMC collection and labeled for course reserves as in-center-use items, while streaming media is linked and made accessible online through respective course Canvas pages. This can be for as many as 140-plus courses and 500-750 physical and streaming titles.
I was born and raised near the Canadian border, in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (NEK), aka "The Kingdom".
